The completed Hidden Face of God artwork (10' tall).
The BIBLICAL SOULS PROJECT
A PROJECT OF LIGHT & HOPE
Imagine your church or sanctuary with biblical scenes rendered in light & sculptural glass.
Together we can build faith-based art unlike any other in history.
A themed collection of these works presented together, such as the miracles of Jesus or The Stations Of The Cross, could be a compelling spiritual and artistic destination worthy of travelers' attention.
GOALS
Create artworks of faith that evoke contemplation & wonder.
Represent Jesus both physically (in glass) and spiritually (through redirected light).
Portray biblical events central to Christianity.
IN THE BEGINNING
It all begins with the sharing of ideas, for example, The Resurrection:
Concept: light rising above darkness
Him: pure light in colorless glass, He is raising Himself above the darkness of the tomb, one leg extending down alongside it
Stand: representing His tomb, matte-finished, mottled dark/black blocks piled up, presenting a slightly uneven surface
Shroud: impart a subtle impression of Him into the cloth that he is shedding as he rises
An alternative to Walking on Water:
Concept: He is the light; the glass is the water; Peter is the stand
Him: He is standing on water, we see the soles of His feet above us, and He is reaching down
Stand: sculpted to represent Peter: with fear and bewilderment he reaches up, stretching to grasp Jesus' downward extended hand, their hands not yet connected
Installed Locations
The proposed artworks would be installed in locations that you would choose, such as your church or sanctuary.
